It is not that you are harming someone and then you are eating, because in yoga, Patanjali has given the 8 limbs of the yoga. Yoga is not only the asanas and the pranayama. In the 8 limbs of the yoga, one is the M-Niyam, then aasan, pranayama, pratyahar, dharana, dhyan and Samadhi. So once we focus on the M- means what we have to avoid. So one part is there, that is ahimsa. Ahimsa means that one should not hurt anybody, through the word, through action, through their benefit, one should not harm anybody. This is one of the prime requirement. That is why it is better if you be a vegetarian because once you are practicing meditation, that time if you are eating a non-veg. so that creates too much of a heat in the body and that heat will impact your meditative level. You will not be able to focus, you will not be able to do the mediation properly. That is why one should eat vegetarian food if you have to get the proper benefit of yoga.

Welcome to my channel! This is my first video, and I'm excited to finally reach out and connect with you. In my life, I've done many things; prominent among them, I played professional hockey and lived the full lifestyle associated with that: partying, drinking, hooking up with girls... to a lot of guys, I was living the good life, but I eventually realized something major was missing... Finally, one day, I discovered what that something was when I met some mysterious Guru, Paramahamsa Nithyananda. He revealed so many aspects of life to me that I somehow felt were there even before experiencing, and made them my experience. In no time, I was in India attending a 21-day program called Inner Awakening, which finally made me feel complete. Through various processes, initiations and a lifestyle geared towards the Ultimate Enlightenment, I now feel like life is truly enjoyable, filled with purpose, and only getting better every day. From this space of fulfillment, I decided to start this YouTube channel to inspire anyone else who wants to build their body, go vegetarian, experience authentic yoga, strive for enlightenment and simply find actual fulfillment in life. Seriously, guys, if I can do it, YOU can do it, and I'm here to help. In future videos, I'll provide intense workouts, share vegetarian nutrition tips that helped get me ripped (breaking the myth you need animal meat for protein), and once in a while, I'll open my heart and share what really inspires me most: spiritual experiences and sweet moments with my Guru.
