Welcome to my channel! This is my first video, and I'm excited to finally reach out and connect with you. In my life, I've done many things; prominent among them, I played professional hockey and lived the full lifestyle associated with that: partying, drinking, hooking up with girls... to a lot of guys, I was living the good life, but I eventually realized something major was missing... Finally, one day, I discovered what that something was when I met some mysterious Guru, Paramahamsa Nithyananda. He revealed so many aspects of life to me that I somehow felt were there even before experiencing, and made them my experience. In no time, I was in India attending a 21-day program called Inner Awakening, which finally made me feel complete. Through various processes, initiations and a lifestyle geared towards the Ultimate Enlightenment, I now feel like life is truly enjoyable, filled with purpose, and only getting better every day. From this space of fulfillment, I decided to start this YouTube channel to inspire anyone else who wants to build their body, go vegetarian, experience authentic yoga, strive for enlightenment and simply find actual fulfillment in life. Seriously, guys, if I can do it, YOU can do it, and I'm here to help. In future videos, I'll provide intense workouts, share vegetarian nutrition tips that helped get me ripped (breaking the myth you need animal meat for protein), and once in a while, I'll open my heart and share what really inspires me most: spiritual experiences and sweet moments with my Guru. To practice yoga, one has to practice yoga, one has to follow the natural rules if you have to get the benefit from the nature, follow the nature. This is the requirement of the yoga. It is not necessary that you have to be vegetarian, then only you will practice. But it is better if you follow the rules of the nature, because yoga means that you have to unite. Yoga means you have to unite the body with the mind, mind with the soul, soul with the superconscious. So if you are practicing yoga, it is better to practice the natural rules. There is no harm if you are non-vegetarian and if you are practicing yoga. It is not like it harms you. But if you are looking at better result, if you are looking a meditation and all, one should eat a very satwik food. Satwik food means that the source of the food is a very pious. It is not that you are harming someone and then you are eating, because in yoga, Patanjali has given the 8 limbs of the yoga. Yoga is not only the asanas and the pranayama. In the 8 limbs of the yoga, one is the M-Niyam, then aasan, pranayama, pratyahar, dharana, dhyan and Samadhi. So once we focus on the M- means what we have to avoid. So one part is there, that is ahimsa. Ahimsa means that one should not hurt anybody, through the word, through action, through their benefit, one should not harm anybody. This is one of the prime requirement. That is why it is better if you be a vegetarian because once you are practicing meditation, that time if you are eating a non-veg. so that creates too much of a heat in the body and that heat will impact your meditative level. You will not be able to focus, you will not be able to do the mediation properly. That is why one should eat vegetarian food if you have to get the proper benefit of yoga.

We hope this video gives you a little insight into our vegan lifestyle and how easy it to create delicious and nutritious meals. Chia Pudding ♥ Ingredients: 2 cups coconut milk 1/2 cup Chia Seeds 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 cup fresh/frozen Strawberries 1 Tbsp Cacao Nibs Directions: 1. Blend all ingredients together except the chia seeds. 2. Mix chia seeds into the blended mixture . 3. Place the entire mixture into a glass container in a fridge overnight or at least 4 hours. 4. When ready to enjoy, garnish with some fresh fruit and cacao nibs. Smoothie Bowl ♥ Ingredients: 1.5 cup Frozen Strawberries 2 Bananas 1/2 cup Hemp Seeds 1 tsp Spirulina 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk 1 tbsp Raw Almond Butter 1 cup Ice Garnish: 1/2 cup Granola Mix 1/2 cup Raisin Nut Mix (cashews/almonds/seeds) 1 tbsp raw cocoa nibs 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds Note: Mix it up with adding fruit if you crave something more sweet. Directions: 1. Blend all ingredients together except garnish. 2. Place Garnish on top. Spinach & Arugula Roasted Almond Salad ♥ Ingredients: 2 cup Fresh Spinach 1 cup Arugula 1/2 cup Sliced Cucumber 1/4 cup Roasted Almonds/Pecans 1/2 Apple (sliced) 1 tbsp Hemp Hearts Dressing: 2 tbsp Olive Oil 1/2tsp Apple Cider Vinegar 1tsp Agave Syrup 1/4 Lemon Juice(squeezed) 1/2 tsp Dried Basil Directions: 1. Slice apple and cucumbers 2. Mix all the ingredients together. 3. Cover with dressing. 4. Sprinkle hemp seeds on top Roasted Almonds ♥ Ingredients: 2 cups Almonds 3 tbsp Agave Syrup/Honey dash Cayenne Pepper Directions: Liquid Mixture: 1. Mix ingredients 2. Microwave for 30 seconds. 3. Pre-head oven to 400 F. 4. Place almonds on parchment paper and cover with mixture. 5. Bake 12-15 min. Checking in from time to time. Roasted Quinoa Stuffed Peppers Ingredients: 4 Bell Peppers (any colour) 1 1/2 cups Quinoa 1 cup Tomato Sauce 1/2 cup White Cap Mushrooms (chopped) 1 Onion (chopped) 1 Large Carrot (finely chopped) 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Basil 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper Directions: 1. Cut the tops of the peppers, leaving the caps aside. 2. Scoop the seeds out of the peppers, leaving them hollow. 3. Simmer quinoa on medium-low heat until cooked. 4. Stir-fry the vegetables adding the tomato sauce and at the end the quinoa. Mix all ingredients together. 5. Fill the empty peppers with the mixture, placing the pepper caps on top. 6. Pre-heat oven to 350F. Placing the peppers into a casserole dish,cover with a lid. 7. Bake for 50min - 55 min. 8. Remove the lid and broil with pepper cap on for 5 min before removing the peppers.
